Our Bambini (“child” in Italian) classrooms are dedicated to the toddler age of development, full of exploration and wonder honoring independence, self help skills, and social interactions.

Approximate Ages: 16 months - 30 months

Alla
Alla joined VAKC in September of 2024. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education and a Master of Arts degree as well as 20 years of teaching experience. She sees each child as a unique individual with a great capacity to learn. She strives to provide an environment where the children’s interests are met while making a positive impact on the children’s lives. In her free time, Alla enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and dog, biking, gardening, traveling, and watching sporting events.

Approximate Ages: 24 months - 36 months

Evy
Evy joined VAKC in July of 2024. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Oberlin College in English and Theater in 1996. She continued her education to earn her Master’s Degree from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in Theater in 1998. Evy has also earned her lead child care teacher qualifications through Department of Children and Families foundational trainings in Introduction to the Childcare Profession, Skills and Strategies for the Childcare Teacher, and Fundamentals of Infant and Toddler Care.
Evy continues to prove she is a lifelong learner as she completed her WI Registry Program Development Credential in 2020. She is passionate about supporting children's emotional development and intellectual growth through creativity, storytelling, and unconditional nurturing support.
